As many of you also do, I like to watch videos on Youtube, and other social media. Especially those videos which have a subject title of anything to do with the end times.

But, I have to caution my dear friends and brothers and sisters in Christ. Many of these videos are teaching a false prophecy. I've seen videos, prepared by well-respected teachers, that include a multitude of errors. For example, I watched one that stated the next event on the prophetic timeline is the Abomination of Desolation. We know, from Daniel 9:27, that the Abomination of Desolation happens at the halfway point of the Tribulation: "27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." "...and in the midst of the week, he shall cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease..." The midst of the week, or the midpoint of the Tribulation. For the Abomination of Desolation to be the next event on the prophetic timeline, we would have already had to have seen the confirming of that covenant by the Antichrist, the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the Two Witnesses, the sealing of the 144,000, and, at the very least, the opening of the remaining 3 seals. Have we seen that? No

 

There are other examples I could give, but the point is to test the teaching of any, and all, that claim to teach the Word of God!

 

And, that includes me - I love to teach and the study of the times we are in has become a passion, but test me, and all who teach.

 

I beg each of you to test the teaching of those who would "translate" the Word of God. It has always been important, but it may be more crucial today.
