Also, many of those who were now believers came, confessing and divulging their practices. And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted the value of them and found it came to fifty thousand pieces of silver.
When Jesus Christ walked into my life and forgave all my sins. My life changed drastically, many hours of repenting of my sin. O He is Grace, He is Love.
That week I had read Acts 19 and I knew that I had to burn a whole lot of music cd’s anything that was not biblical went up in smoke. Thousands of pieces of silver/dollars
A few years back I had bought 3 books from a faith healer named John G Lake, he was known in ministry in the early 1900’s, but his legacy still goes on today. Here again Holy Spirit was warning me, and this took me a while to realize and pray. The first book Holy Spirit was strongly upon me while reading. The second book Holy Spirit was strongly upon me, and I asked Him why so strongly and not so strongly when I read Abba Father’s Word? Third book (1000+ pages) 1/3 into the book Holy Spirit still warning me, things were not adding up any longer, the healing testimonies, the finances how about such an enormous amount of money he would make, and he was speaking in a free mason lodge! That was it! I understood what Holy Spirit meant, the deception. I was going to burn these books... today a year later Holy Spirit prompted me that I had said I would burn these books? I did burn them up this evening.
Are there any books, any christian books on your shelves, is there any music, is there any artwork, is there anything in your life that is not Holy, that needs to be burned up? do it!
